CENTRAL STERILE SUPPLY DEPARTMENT (CSSD)

The central sterile supply department becomes responsible for processing, sterilizing and dispensing of almost all items of sterile equipment, sets and dressings in hospital in one single department for efficiency and effectiveness.
This department is under the supervision of department of anesthesia and microbiology.
