The primary focus of the Department is to provide children with the best possible healthcare, teaching/learning opportunities, and research opportunities, while ensuring that students and staff have access to the best possible care. Specific Objectives:

  • To offer the best possible care to the neonate and child
  • To establish guidelines on how a particular problem should be solved in the Indian setting
  • To carry out research in the specialty under ethical and scientific guidelines

OPD Services

Outpatient services provided 6 days a week with specialized pediatric consultation and care.

IPD & Emergency

24-hour availability of inpatient and emergency services for critical pediatric care.

Counseling & Education

Parents' counseling and community health education for newborns, infants, children and adolescents.

Education & Training

A regular and rigorous teaching program forms the backbone of undergraduate and postgraduate training.

Undergraduate Training

From the 3rd semester through the 9th semester, faculty members and residents teach and train undergraduate medical students.

Postgraduate Training

The "MD Pediatrics" PG training program commenced with the 2022 session, providing specialized pediatric education.

Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre for malnourished children with specialized care
